If you mean the magic eye technique, you have to change the focus of your own eyes to bring the 2 images together. The Blackcat video was just a demonstration to show you how. There are Facebook groups and Youtube videos that teach you how.

Magic Eye players can easily score >2M in 45 min. ME players have learned to change the focus of their eyes so that they can bring the 2 panels together and spot the differences between the scenes in fractions of a second. Because they are so fast, they can play a lot scene and have extremely high scores. There are FB groups that will teach and train you, if you want to learn.

    1) Not Magic Eye myself, but we have one on our team. Scored just over 1,500,000 on the 30min STD, so similar to you and your teammates.
    2) As for doubling the score, this does not require double the speed, as the scoring ramps up with each successive round (vs being a linear progression where each round is weighted the same). For instance, I keep notes and compare to my friend. I completed 41 rounds and scored 440,000, my friend completed 45 rounds and scored 515,000, an extra 75,000 in just 4 rounds. So I scored (440,000/41) ~11,000 per round on average, so 4 extra rounds should only be 44,000 points (If the scoring was linear), not 75,000 points. The extra points are due to the higher rounds being worth an "exponentially" higher point value. (~18,000 pts per higher round, which aligns in my brain from what I was scoring in each round before time ran out.)
    3) As for the timing glitch, I know someone who experienced this on a STD about a week ago. The glitch only affected her, not the whole team. In her case, it was a 30min STD and she played for ~90min. Not ME herself, but scored about 1,300,000 due to the extra time. (Essentially a 90min comp. Ugh.)
    4) Additionally, I also think that computer savvy programmers, with a minimal knowledge of image processing, could automate the whole STD with a simple algorithm. No need for Magic Eye at all!

I believe we were one of the teams in the "new café" beta test.
At first you could give DL ribbons as all of your 5 beverages. People with lots of diamonds really took advantage of this. I have to confess we tried it our efforts to suplement our other play, as a way to keep up with the "Super Players", but was costly.
They now limit your DL drinks to, I believe 2 per night.
But we know players are finding ways to increase their scores.
Other than Magic Eye, which we've repeatedly ask them to put them in separate groups, there's also time zone issues.
As the DL competition is ending it's nighttime for most of our team. But teams in the Far East and even parts of Europe, have either almost another day or half day to play.
The response is everyone has the same number of hours, but in the final hours, we're sleeping.
Good luck on trying to level the playing good. We've been trying for some time without success.

I’m at the end of the game so I do the clue tasks and then save the last two stars for later because the last thing anyone wants is to be at the end with no stars left to play for. For tasks that don’t make me travel forward I just play old scenes over and over till I get a good score then I move on to the next star or old scene. I save the last two stars for the tasks “beat your own score”.
But I don’t think you need to worry about that yet until you get to the next to the last chapter to conserve your scenes. Right now it’s probably best that you play all the stars for now to build up your resources, a lot of good stuff you need are in those boxes. The best thing you can do for yourself right now is learn how to play the Help Wanted in a way that you get the most you can out of playing without having to waste too many diamonds changing the tasks. I wrote a long note on my tips for playing HW if you would like me to post it I can. HW is the most important thing to master and then join a club to get lots of energy every day from your team mates. This is a must. Think about learning Magic Eye it’s fun and so much easier to do the Spot the Difference competition if you are a ME player and you will be a more valuable team mate for clubs. You can search Facebook for ME groups to learn or ask any Junes Journey group to point you in the right direction. I know I had a lot of questions when I started and had no one to ask so I went to Facebook to find out stuff. Unfortunately I joined a club that knew nothing but since I knew nothing I didn’t know so I stayed too long in that club. Finding a good and serious coffee club is very important. Good luck

We've seen when we finish lower in a competition, usually Spot the Difference competitions, since we have no Magic Eye players, we grouped with less challenging teams in the next competition.
