  1.) The first move that destroys a jail, must destroy all jails.
  2.) The only guaranteed way to destroy all jails in one move is with TNT/rocket combo in the first row above the jails. This will destroy 3 columns of ice too (unless you are in the first or last column when exploding them, then only two columns will be destroyed).
  3.) Best results come from destroying ice in the first three columns or the last three columns. So set up you combo to allow you to do this. This is not always possible. If you can’t, that’s okay too.
  4.) Now you only have 18 ice cubes remaining. . I HATE ICE!

  5.) Study the board.
  a. Can you build another TNT/rocket combo on the right side and drop it down to the right of the remaining ice? I HATE ICE!
  b. Will you be able to match pairs of colored squares next to the ice? I HATE ICE!
  c. Maybe there is a Rubik Cube/rocket combo waiting to be built?
  c. This is the point where you need to access your knowledge from the first 496 levels you completed. You may start with a or b as your plan and then change your mind when 9 Red cubes come together. That’s okay too. You have 50 total moves, which is plenty. Be creative. If you can build a TNT above the heads of the released criminals, you may want to do that so when you break the ice underneath that criminal and he escapes the board, then that TNT falls down into place to blow the next column of ice off the board. Relax, enjoy.

  DO NOT LET THE ICE MAKE YOU PANIC! THINK BEFORE YOU MOVE. BE CALM. BREATHE! You’ve got this! 498 is calling you name out of fear.

  Alastair Cameron, the “pairs” are pairs of matching colored cubes to break the ice. As long as you break one ice cube, the ice does not grow. Just played 497 again before replying because I wanted it fresh in my mind when writing this. This time did not get any matching colored squares by the ice but fortunately I was able to build a TNT and then build a rocket to pair them the second row up from the bottom and by “exploding” those was able to get rid of all the ice in one move.

  It seems the hurdle with this level is giving in to the pressure of the ice. (My problem with ice too and why I HATE ICE) Remain calm. There are 50 moves available for this level, double what is needed if the Toy Blast gods are even slightly on your side.

  Start with the TNT/rocket on top of the jail. If possible, build the TNT/rocket so it can releases in the second column from the right or the left side. This removes all three columns of ice at one side or the other. Why does this help? Two reasons:

  1.) Can then build another TNT/rocket in that open space and take out all remaining ice or
  2.) when discharging the TNT/rocket in the middle somewhere it’s harder to break ice on both sides of the opening. I found this at many levels, not just 497. BUT it can be done so don’t panic if you had to go through the middle. I HATE ICE

  One other thing that will help: before releasing that first TNT/rocket combo above the jails, any rocket you can build that will fire down through the ice, helps immensely. BUT don’t release those rockets individually! Leave them so that when you explode the TNT/rocket combo, they will hit the lone rockets and send them through another column of ice at the same time as the combo takes out the three columns below them.

  This is a list of what I try to do for level 497 and it consistently works for me. There may be other ways but I could not find one that was reliable every time. If you find another way to defeat 497, please share. I HATE ICE!

  In case you have forgot that since your school days: I DID NOT LIKE SCHOOL (Hate was too strong of a word for school. Hate fits perfectly with ice!)

  Level 120

  IMPORTANT: You do not need to clear all the pinwheels for the bottom pinwheel to be cleared and the elephant to drop.

  Some guidelines that I use to be successful in winning this level in the allowed moves. The guidelines are helpful so you do not waste moves:

  1. Missiles, TNT & Cubes
  A) Do not make them unless you can not avoid it or you are not going out of you way to make them.

  B) If a missile, TNT or Cube is made, make it as far away from center as possible. That is so they don't get in the way of making pairs to clear a pinwheel.

  C) Do not use them unless it helps maneuver the colors you need for a pinwheel leaf or you have no other practical moves.

  D). IOW: Do not waste your limited moves on them.

  2. To clear the bottom pinwheel, you need to clear the pinwheel on the left or the pinwheel on the right. In it not necessary to clear both sides.

  In other words:
  A). Clear pinwheel on left and pinwheel on the bottom

  OR

  B). Clear pinwheel on the right and pinwheel on the bottom.

  3. This level has been won with the pinwheel remaining on one side with the white blocks remaining on the same side.

  Level 120

  The spinning bonus wheel just shows up on its own. It is possible that Toy Blast running on older versions of IOS do not have the wheel.

  Looks like anything higher needs to be put here. This is what o have:

  Level 654
  Clue: pair Rubic Cubes
  Need two RC Early, when still have 10 lives or more left to clean up the remaining bubbles. If you can pair two RC a second time, piece of cake.

  Level 656
  Challenge is to have 60 beach balls appear to pop. If they don't appear , they can't be popped.
  A Cube/missile combo early on with many matching colors to the Cube, seals the deal. Once the combo has done its thing, there will be many beach balls and bubbles to score the level requirements while you concentrate on scoring the elephants landing safely on the bottom.

  Level 658
  Don't bust thru caged eggs until you have built tools in top. Build TNT/missile in first row above a cages and it will open all of them and release the eggs. If you are able to release a second TNT/missile across the bottom to melt ice in the way then pair blocks to melt Choctaw otherwise use missiles to eliminate chocolate.
  Remember goal is not ice! It is just a nuisance this level. Melt your eggs and pop the bubbles to move on.
  If you were able to use the TNT/missile to open all the cages without using many lives, you will have this one!

  Level 682
  Live a good clean life as a virgin and a lot of luck!

  Level 683
  Make tools around the outside or a missile in the elephant column for later use when setting elephants free

  Level 725
  Normally I try to pair the TNT with a rocket but in this level used the TNT as soon as it makes sense. So either right away or if another pig can easily be dropped in to range of the TNT then wait until It is dropped in place then blow them piggies up! For some reason this was the only way that I was able to complete this level (compared to waiting for a pair of TNT/rocket).

  Level 749
  If you can pair a missile with a Rubik's Cube; it's all over but the hog roast!

  Level 794
  Important: pop bubbles near ice right away, especially bottom ones (under rings)
  Started with a TNT, lucky to get rocket next to it, build pair at beginning that cleaned up top/bottom in middle which set up another pair to clean up left/right in middle.

  Level 872
  Failed many times and finally was successfully when paired RubikCube with TNT, THREE separate times. I did not purposely pair those two, thought the missile would have been the better choice with the RC but turns out I was wrong. So, start building those bombs!

  Level 958

  Defies my logic but start making pairs at the bottom and work your way up. As soon as possible make Cube/missile pairs. It will take more than one pairing. I found my self stuck with a Cube/TNT pair at first and had to take it. Cube/RC pairs are okay sometimes. The sooner a Cube can be paired the greater the chance of passing this level.

  Does anyone like the ice? Also, if you like any of the tips and/or hints, please "like" it so to motivate the player to write more. Don't be shy to ask specific players questions if you get stuck on a level without any hints. I have several written but was unable to logged in to post for a few months plus I have started at Level 1 on a new device and currently playing on four devices.

  Level 109

  GOAL: 1.) get both dudes to the bottom. a.) create a missile above each dude's head that will fire down to open his path to the bottom or b.) pairing squares until the dude gets to the bottom. "b" is not always successful but "a" is always be successful and is by far the quickest.

  2.) Complete both pinwheels by selecting two (or more) squares next to it in each color. (Red, yellow, green, blue, purple)
  One of the squares must be touching the pinwheel.

  Example, Red Petal: Select two (or more) red squares touching the pinwheel, then one petal on the pinwheel turns red. Continue until you have matched a pair of each color next to the pinwheel and then the pinwheel will disappear allowing the dude to escape.

  Watch level 109 video, it shows a useful way to use the Rubik's Cube thing to get to the purple squares to complete the level. It also shows that you may need to create tools (rocket, TNT, RC) on the side you have already completed.

  Not much more to say, it is a fairly easy level unless you get really unlucky. Start pairing matching squares that touch pinwheels. Look for the squares that may be touching both pinwheels; not likely, but if you can lite up two petals with one move, take the move.

  Start on either pinwheel and complete it or jump back and forth. If you create a rocket to clear the dude's path, use it right away or later. If it is not in the way it doesn't matter when you shoot the rocket. Have fun!

  Level 495

  GOAL: create at least two TNT/RubicCube (RC) combos. Creating I rockets and/or rocket/TNT combos are key to success. Luck is useful here too!

  CENTER BUBBLE: First, note the center bubble. Keep in mind that you need to pop that bubble to complete the level so whenever the opportunity presents itself, take it. SINGLE ROCKET: To pop center bubble, there are only four squares that a rocket can be shot from that will pop it. Those four squares are located in the doorway between each corner square. ROCKET/TNT Combo: place the combo along any of the walls touching the center bubble square.

  Pair matching colored squares next to the matching jar. This will open up the space to create rockets, TNT and RC to do the mass destruction. Likely need to wait until all jars are gone to pair TNT/RC and with 36 TNT required to complete level 495, two TNT/RC will likely be needed. If you can create combos earlier, go for it!

  NOTE:
  • Left side has yellow and green jars.
  • Right side has blue and purple jars.

  Therefore, blue/purple squares are of no use on left side. If there are green and purple squares on the top left and you have a choice on what to remove, remove purple to allow green to drop through to the bottom. Then use green squares to eliminate green jars.

  Of course, this is not always possible but something to keep in mind while completing this level!

  Level 497

  GOAL: create TNT/rocket combo in the first row above the jail, so your first move will destroy all the cages at once. I hate ice!

  Until one or more of the caged people are removed, the ice cannot advance anywhere so use that to your advantage. (I hate ice!) The best way to break through the jail is all at once; TNT/Rocket combo exploding next to jail. Seems to work best if done towards the middle.

  With 50 moves, that is enough that you can set up TNT and a rocket and wait to use them at the same time. If you create the combo too high, use another rocket to remove a row below your combo. Once the combo destroys the jail, keep selecting pairs to break away ice or make rockets if available. If not lucky enough to create the combo, try it again with next life. I hate that ice!

  Level 492

  GOAL: Pair the Rubik Cube (RC) looking thing with anything else quickly. [With only 21 moves allowed there is little time to make moves that don't produce pairs with a rocket, TNT or RC. ]

  STRATEGY: When you start the level, look if there is a RC for your first move. If not, try selecting the center group of four squares. If still no RC, select the few "L" shape squares below that. If still no RC, you are the unluckiest person I know of.

  Since all squares are blue when you start, the first RC will be blue. Pair it with anything immediately. (The remaining squares will be mostly blue when pairing in the first three moves) Keep pairing RC with anything. The best results come from pairing two RCs but don't waste five moves trying to make one since there are only 21 for this level.
  Stick with your plan and toss level 492 into history!

  Level 384
  Luck required, plus looking ahead helps.
  NOTE: there are nine columns with bubbles containing jars in every other column; columns 2, 4, 6, 8.
  NOTE: columns 2, 4, 6, 8 do not teleport. Columns 1, 3, 5, 7 teleport towards the right.
  NOTE: teleporters located at bottom of columns 1, 3, 5, 7.
  NOTE: if you want a weapon that you created to be able to teleport, make it in Columns 1, 3, 5 or 7. Conversely if you don't want it to teleport, make in columns 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9.
  Need to create pairs of weapons to complete level 384. Always be looking where they may be created. It is made more difficult with four alternating columns teleporting and five columns static.
  I prefer to start on left side, using any yellow squares available. The video example starts on the right side. If you start on right side those yellow squares may no longer be available to use while next to the yellow jars since they may have teleported beyond them.
  Make pairs of weapons. You may also make missiles at the top of columns 2, 4, 6, 8 to shoot down the jar column. I did do better when I concentrated on making pairs and not necessarily looking to make missiles shoot jar columns.
  Do whatever works for you!

  Level 380

  REQUIREMENT: 45 LIVES TO CLEAR 50 bubbles and 50 toast!

  Bubbles are an easy kill but 50 toast are tough and not happening when concentrating on bubbles. That's why the toast must be the Priority: two or more squares touching toasters. Concentrate on removing these pairs or triples if that lucky. When you don't have pairs/trips to make toast then remove any of the other squares inside bubbles. If you make two toast for each life that uses 25 lives to make the toast required for the level. That leaves 25 lives for the 50 bubbles, very doable.

  Rockets are easy at this level but at the best placement will only score two toast, you really need TNT or Rubik's cube (RC) to pair with a rocket to score four toast (TNT) and unknown number of toast with RC (hopefully more than two). TNT/rockets combo requires that they are in a place to hit toasters on both sides. I only had one pairing of TNT/rocket. It was a nice pairing to use for removing lots of bubbles.

  Failed 20+ times before determined that to complete the level had to concentrate on pairs/triples of colored squares by toasters. Was able to complete level first try after changing strategy. Mostly luck or would that happen consistently? I am not staying on 380 to find out. MOVING ON! :-) PLEASE leave a note stating your experience.

  The video shows the Cubes being made in the order listed below, it worked for me too. Don't know if it can be done differently but I failed at all other attempts that were different.

  Level 71

  Easiest level in the game.

  Ice. Hate ice more than anything. It causes me to hurry and make stupid mistakes. So take a deep breadth, wait 15 seconds after each move before making your next move. During that time look for matching colors to build missile or TNT. Ideally, put a missile next to TNT so wipe out many. By slowing down it will improve your game immensely.

  IMPORTANT: Have you noticed that the ice does not invade until you remove the big white block next to an ice square???

  Therefore.....
  • If you are only working at the top of the level, not touching (thus removing) a big white block, the ice will NOT invade.

  • If you work only on the right side and removing the big white blocks only on the right side, ice will only invade on the right side.

  So use this to your advantage. Build missiles and TNT before busting any big white blocks. None to be made? Then take time to see which side to work on first, pairing missiles and TNT. None to be made? If you can't makes missiles and TNT, you are screwed. This life is dead and hopefully next one you will be luckier. Yes, LUCK is a part of this game.

  Bubbles: Remember that when you can't move the squares to get matching colors together to burst bubbles, use a missile. Missiles are easy to make at this level.

  Always try to pair missiles/TNT to win. Couple of those and you are just about guaranteed a win.

  Level 391

  Pair TNT/rocket in the column or row on the outside edge and that will undressed pigs in the side and top or side and bottom. Repeat three more times or until all pigs are dead!
