So far, I've discovered that the barrels help. Also, getting four in a row gives you a sparkly tile that eliminates the entire row or column when it's used, including the corners.

Get as many baskets and as you can, and get the tickets to the bottom of the screen so you get blueberries and apples on the board. Use the baskets to clear blueberries and apples. Use the barrels to clear blueberries and apples if you can; DON'T swipe two barrels next to each other, because that clears the board, which is generally not helpful on this screen. Make as many water matches as possible so that you get bonus points "watered" on the crops.
