I got 45,716 last spring but haven't come anywhere near that since. I score somewhere between 6-15,000 with sometime, less than 1,000. Makes me think it's luck, but here are my suggestions, in the event skill plays any part in it. I try to keep everything on one side and eliminate columns. If I have to expand, I go to the top or bottom of the other side, trying to keep the center free. Save spaces for 3x3 blocks and 5 block lengths. A small L will typically follow 5 block lengths. If I get two 5 block lengths in one turn, I play them both to get rid of them, unless they eliminate a column or row.
