Any new decorations coming? I finally leveled up enough to get the poppy patch...It’s beautiful, but I was disappointed that it was only worth 30 prestige (flowers).

Does Wooga plan to add any more buildings after the schoolhouse?

Good question! I would like to get rid of the pool, and some of the grand prizes from the seasonal sets. I don’t see any option to sell them.

I enjoy the character cards as well, but I rarely get them anymore.

Hi Mary, I concur with Ms. Tearius in putting low prestige items into storage to make room for higher prestige items. Regarding compasses, I seem to get them most often when I complete a scene investigation or a chapter and open a star box, but occasionally I will receive one during play. Another suggestion: An alternative to putting redundant or small but high-prestige items, or other items that don’t quite fit in your landscape design, is to hide them behind buildings and trees.

I agree it is a really good game. I just unlocked the train car and sold off a few station platforms for half of what I paid for them, to buy a train car. But even after I get the flowers from the train car, along with the ones I will get after the pool house and farmer’s market upgrades in 2 days, I will still be unable to progress in the game. Funny thing is, I now have more than enough compasses to expand one plot and half of another, but I can’t, because I cannot play new chapters. I replayed some old scenes, which is all I can do at this point, but I’m not sure I’m interested in doing that for days just to get enough coins to buy high prestige items that take yet more days before I can collect on them. So I’m not sure, at this point, if I’m going to continue the game. I’m starting to lose interest. I do appreciate the conversation and your suggestions, though. Thank you.

Wow! Much respect for being at level 236 and having that many train cars! I don’t have a single train car yet, and had no idea they cost that much! I cringed when I first heard others saying they had to replay the same scenes to accumulate enough coins, but I’ve learned to easily find the hidden objects, even on the difficult levels, and more often than not, I get a perfect score! So, I have to ask, when you replay the same scenes, do you start again at the easy levels, or do the replays take you to the scenes with the most hidden objects? Do the replays help fill in the photo album, where when you get all the character cards, you can unscramble the photo and receive a full energy bar? That’s one of my favorite parts of the game...unscrambling the photos. Regarding the train, I had a plan when I started this game to have a rail line extending in a straight line from one end of the island near the waterfall to the other end, near the sinking ship. Maybe I will reconsider giving up on the game, but I also hope the developers reconsider some aspects of the game, as well. Thank you for the tips and encouragement!

Thank you for your reply. I have put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful island. I have a healthy mix of high-prestige items combined with lower-prestige items because for me, it’s also about aesthetics (I’m also a weekend gardener in real life). If the only way to progress in the game is to decorate with high-prestige items, why even offer the low-prestige ones? I’m at the point in the game where I have to purchase station platforms nearly every day, providing I have enough coins, because there are no other choices with enough value (and aesthetics) to keep progressing. However, I’m unwilling to plaster them throughout my island, so I move them in and out of storage whenever I have enough to level up, which is getting more and more difficult and tiresome as I go. So I may end up quitting the game, which I don’t want to do (I’m currently at level 93). I really enjoy this game! I hope the developers not only listen to all the complaints and lower the compass requirement, but offer larger expansion plots and more choices of high-prestige items in the future, as well.

I would like to see player-to-player messaging, if for no other reason so I can thank other players when they gift me flowers and bushes. I would also like the ability to receive and offer suggestions to those who are open to it. One of the players whose island I visit hasn’t figured out that you can clear out the dead trees and rock-outcroppings to open space and get diamonds. I don’t have Facebook, so I can’t message players that way. I’m on Twitter, but there doesn’t seem to be a fan page there. Player-to-player messaging might be a good way to let people know about this website!

Off-topic, but I’d like to ask why flowers and bushes that are gifted are immovable. ???

My strategy is to purchase station platforms, which are worth 300 flowers. As I don’t want them all over my island, I put all but one in storage. I have a grassy area set aside, and I put the grass in storage and lay down the platforms there` so I can open the next level. Once the next level is open, I put the platforms back in storage, then put the grass back in place.
