This turned out to be pretty easy. When you do the 7-combo, in addition to removing one of the rubber bands, it scores you a purple. Can't do 5-combo or 6-combo to win this puzzle.

On iOS the purple piece isn't spawning, or at very very low rates. I used like 50 crystals extending, clearing the board over and over, but purple pieces don't drop.
