Watch for the golden apples. The apple tree drops them once in a while. They are worth more in the store.

Don't drag it to the townsperson. Just tap on it. Your mayor will give the item to the townsperson on their own. Dragging it releases the bug or drops the item on the ground.

I planted the flower seeds found in the store, in a diamond pattern with one in the middle. Water it at least twice a day and they will eventually spawn new plants. Sometimes rare, sometimes common. I've planted flowers side by side many different ways and this pattern seems to spawn more new flowers/plants mor often. I have seven rare ones growing in my game now that spawned this morning.

The ticket isn't always for sale. Other days you'll buy the ticket but there won't be a lottery drawing. I think it's a game glitch. But not sure.

Garnets can come from the grey stones or the cave in the back. The minerals you find are random each day.

I placed mine on the grass back by the bridge to the forest.

You must also supply your town with food. Buy vegetable seeds and plant them. Also buy fruit trees and plant those. The cornucopia on the left of the screen tells you how many food sources you need each day. I leave the vegetables in the ground be ause the townspeople eat them around dinnertime on their own. I pick up and sell the tree fruit because the townspeople also buy the fruit/vegetables you sell to the store. Watch the apple tree for the odd colored apples - they're golden apples and worth $100 each.

Once built, the cave will spawn 4 or 5 common to rare minerals daily as well as 2 scorpions and silverfish. Most of my gems have appeared there including garnet. The grey rocks can also contain garnet.

My horsefly spawns in the forest/field at the edge of the stream in the vary back to the right of the cave.

The child you adopted takes over. And at least two of my mayors retired at over 70 years of age. They retire when their adoptee is of age to take over.

Be sure to check the apple trees when they drop fruit. Occasionally they drop golden apples that are worth $100 each in the store.

I always keep fifty or so vegetables growing in the ground for my townsfolk to eat, while I harvest and sell the apples, oranges and pears (watch for the golden apples - they are worth $100 each) because you get a reward for properly supplying enough food to sustain your town after so many days. Be sure to play the game at dinnertime (around 5-6pm) because this is when your townspeople will eat.
