all the vids I could find did not include the beach balls. So finally I passed level by popping as many balls as possible then grouping Piggies together so I could explode with a combo rocket or two TNTs.

the toy(s) you check will appear in the first screen on the level you are playing - which isn't always useful! Better to play the level at least once before selecting. I think u r talking about two diff things. The prizes from the wheel operate differently - each does its own thing which u r only told once when they r unlocked. One erases a whole row, one explodes all of one color, etc.
