The "golden crystals" are the yellow blocks that have to eliminated in the game in order for you to win. They just called them "golden crystals" and confused everybody. They have all different colored jewels inside the yellow boarder. They are talking about the yellow boarder.

I don't think its going to do anything but add gift boxes to your inventory.

Nazianne, the pumpkin game in the crystals is kinda come and go, it's not always present, so don't worry if it hasn't shown up yet. The ghosts/hats throwing off keys to other non-related rooms rarely happens, I've been playing about a week now with the Halloween set up and I've only had it happen twice. I'm not sure how many keys you can find in the Masquerade Ball, but I found 5 once. Usually I'm so busy trying to find the actual items I only pick up one key if any!

Yes, exactly. That is ALL that was needed. Why did they default the tab to the collections so that when you give an assemblers gift you can not tell if the gift was given? Why when you give a gift does the silly thing default BACK to the collections tab AFTER you give a gift? It just causes you to go back to the assemblers tab to be check if everything is "greyed" out so you know the gift was sent, then when you click on the next friend button, it is right back on the collections tab making you do the whole silly routine all over again.

Crystals/pumpkin game is up and working again! Anyone else having a tuff time in the Masquerade Ball room? Jeez, I use more hints/tools in that room than I have in the whole game since starting, good for G5 I guess since you pay for more rubies for more tools, but hard on players. Unless it's just me and everyone is finding it easy. I love the room, don't get me wrong, I just don't seem to be able to get a handle on it.

I'm not sure I understand the post. What hidden gifts? Yes it's true the last event did end, it has a clock on the upper righthand side of the screen that tells you how much time is left for any "special" event, there is also a screen that appears each time you log on to the game explaining about the special events and the time remaining.

In the new event, called Perfect Halloween, the playing field has been expanded (it's gorgeous btw, pumpkins everywhere, the trees have fall colors, there is a winter scene for an up coming event, there are new things to do like finding keys in certain rooms, finding pumpkins in the crystals game) there is a halloween party scene where the dancing couple used to be (it does essentially the same thing as the dancing couple), and a new room to investigate called the Masquerade Ball. I'm really happy with the work they put into it.

It allows you to "charge" (just means click) on a location when you are visiting a friend. It gives you the regular white experience points (to get to the next level) when you help your friends by charging locations. It helps your friends by reducing the amount of energy need to play that location, or it increases their gold or experience when they play that location.

The color refer to what level of experience you have with that room. What I want to know is why when you are visiting friends, some of their rooms have the purple banner like we see in a special event room, like we have now with the Ballroom. I always click those rooms when I am visiting because it makes me believe those rooms are some how important to the friend I am visiting.

Its this long stupid thing. First you accept the invitation, let the game start to load then close it, go back to the invitation, click the X that is now visible on the invitation in the top right corner, it will load the game again, but this time inside the game, decline the invitation, go back to the invitation, click the X in the top right corner again. That should do it. It's like a little dance you have to do. Make sure on the first step to let the game load for about 10 seconds, that will allow you to get the X on the invitation card to appear. If there is an easier way, I don't know it.

When you are visiting a friend, look up in the top left hand corner, the number under your picture is your level, and the number next to it is reputation.

You get money and points to level up, the higher your reputation the more money and the more points you get. When you click on a location in a friends game (if your reputation is high enough) they will get less energy needed to get in the room or more money if they complete it successfully.
