  I tried this level 3 times before I looked it up. After reading a bunch of posts from varying sources, I strategized by combining the advice of a few different posts and had this done in 3 more attempts!

  First, make sure to check Momo’s Tips (only available in Maiden difficulty) in your game and wear exactly what Momo tells you. I have highlighted the button with a red arrow pointing to it in my screenshots. Be sure to scroll down to view EVERY item that Momo has listed. I think this may actually change based on individual gameplay, so don’t just copy my list, view your own to make absolutely sure you’ve got it right. (This is a helpful tip if you’re struggling with any level in the game, btw.)

  Secondly, upgrade your skills!! As somebody mentioned, it’s about the DIFFERENCE in scores, not your personal score. The skills I used are: Smile Lv.5, Picky Immune Lv.6, Critical Eye Lv.3, Charming Lv.4. Get higher if you can afford it. My Picky Immune is so high because the opponents vary in timing when they use Critical Eye against you. The same opponent appears to use the same skills in the same order during a battle, so you don’t need to have Picky Immune as high if you time it right.

  Finally, someone posted in a Reddit thread that in the case of this level, ‘less is more’. I took that into consideration and only added a couple of accessories to Momo’s choices.

  i have tried every suggestion given for 4-1 & 4-12... skills suggested are all @ level 7, am getting higher scores; yet still nothing higher than an A- what & why the discrepancy?

  Do you really how the scores and the rankings vary?! Does anyone else's do this. I've tried so many times with so many outfits combos and still cannot get an S but a friend of mine has an S rank with a lower score. Help!

  ThroughtheLightx. U need to get at least 95,000 to get S rank but you also have to acheive a certain amount of points more than the opponent. U might not have got S rank because your's and your opponent's scores may have been too close. Go to this site, it shows you how to get the S rank but you might also need to upgrade your perks:

  Anyone know why the Princess mode won't show up for me? I have completed the first three chapters with all S scores but it's not even there. I'm not confused or anything I've seen screen shots so i know where the button is supposed to be but it is not there.

  Remember this: CLOTHES HAVE MORE THAN TWO TAGS. Clothes actually have a total of SIX TAGS, and the other four tags DO AFFECT THE SCORE. Take the scarf "Natural Gift", for example. It's main tags is Simple and Pure. But if you look it up in Wardrobe and tap on it. You will show you the tags and it's description, but next to the "Introduction" tab you'll notice a tab called "Attributes". This shows you ALL the tags an item has, and the scores for each item. "Natural Gift" has Simple (S) and Pure (S), as expected, for now you can see it also has Lively (S), Warm (S), and Cute (A). It's in the upper left hand corner, across from the "Decompose" option. Chaning an item's color can also change it's scores and attributes, so take a look at what would change.
  TL;DR: Look up the item in wardrobe, tap on the item, and check the attributes as well as the main two tags. The two main tags are the strongest attributes. The score an attribute can have is S, A, B, and C, none seem to have F. You can also see all the attributes in the Customization menu when you're changing an item, and changing an item's color changes it's attributes and its scores. Clothing has six tags, not two.

  This thread is really messy. Ideally if you want help with different topics you should start a new thread, no? Anyway, a tip is to use critical eye/picky bounce if you're on the edge between A and S, since letter grading depends on the differences between your scores.

  The thing is that out of the 10 attributes, there are 5 opposite pairs; for example, warm vs cool is sthe obvious one, but pure vs sexy, simple vs gorgeous, lively vs elegant, lively vs mature (they're next to each other in the list). So if you add on a bunch of gorgeous stuff onto the bunny outfit, you're hurting your "simple" score.

  I did this (just barely) without the bunny ears (it's 3 grindy 5 me). I had to do it many times though because there is some randomness to the scores, I think. Also, using critical eye helps since the pass threshold is the opponent's score (which changes every round ofc)
