    General Tipps

Play as much as you can in the free training room. Especially in the beginning, you should reach with your efforts the Top 200 (this is not a sign of quality, simply a frequency of matches).
Don’t give up – every defeat will teach you a valuable lesson. Go through the mud. Be gentle with yourself. You will have to do at least hundred matches to see real results.

    Start of game

Start with an aggressive jump-header (up, or down) and return immediately after the shot towards your goal. If you are dealing with a weaker opponent, you will score. If you encounter a strong opponent, he/she will defend, or counter attack - that’s why you need to return towards your goal. Very good players will do the same that you are doing: an aggressive jump-header. If you delay your run for a split second, you increase the chance to score.
Especially in the beginning, check your rival out without risking too much. Stay in front of your goal and play high balls. Variate with low shots and high shots while approaching your opponent.
Alternatively, you can attack aggressively to frighten your opponent. This will work only with week partners.

    Keep good distance

It is essential to keep a distance to your opponent. In a game with professional players, you see - like in real football - that they move together back and forth and keep a certain security distance. Don’t move too close to your opponent, otherwise you can run into sudden attacks. And don’t move too far away, otherwise you can’t make a good attack yourself.

    Attacks

First rule: Attack, or defend. Don’t hesitate and stay where you are.
Learn the forward header. You will find it in details in the basic course.
If your opponent doesn’t know it, you have won. Try to run again your opponent as much as you can and let the ball jump high, then move a bit back towards your goal for the right distance to the ball, jump and kick high in fast succession to head forward.
If the players have learned to defend the high forward header with a jump, then try to variate the trick by letting the ball fall on the ground and scoring with an upwards shot. (advanced course)
Learn from martial arts: attack, and immediately go back and defense. Be aware of counter-attacks
Move forward when the ball jumps high and your opponent waits for it to come down. Very often you can reach the ball before it comes down with a powerful forward-header. The further you are away before you start the attack, the more surprising and powerful it will be.
Be attentative for the right distance. Not too close - then you hit the opponent and the ball goes into you own goal. And not too far away - then your opponent has too much time to react.
In this sequence you see again how the players keep a certain security distance to each other, so they can’t be surprised by a sudden attack. Learn to keep the perfect distance so you have enough time to defend, and you are close enough to score.
Variate: Even if you have learned it well: don’t do always the same trick, i.e. the high forward header. If you notice that your opponent can defend well, change the strategy and use suddenly a high shot, or a low shot.
Bounce goals are quite difficult to score .. but you should be always aware of the perfect distance if you are going for an in-fight. They are accomplished by just jumping high - and the ball is reflected from the roof into the goal.

    Defense

A strong defense wins most of the games. When you opponent gets the ball, move a bit back into the goal. In this way, you increase the distance and you have more time to react, either to jump up or forward, or move forward.
Stay in front of your goal and play high balls. Variate with low shots and high shots while approaching your opponent. Counter attack high and low attacks.
Jump to close the angle and defend your goal. In this example you see very well, how both opponents are protecting their goal by jumping in the right moment. The ball is coming down, and the defender is jumping to protect to upper part of the goal. The shot is going against the post, and then another jump - we see that the complete upper part is protected. The lower area is not possible, except through a very precise downwards kick.
As the scene develops further, we see that also the opponent jumps to reduce the angle towards his goal. But then in this case the second jump comes too late to prevent the high header goal.
Also in the next scene a jump is preventing a direct score, and - in this case - even provoking a goal. Again in slow motion - the ball comes too far toward the goal, the shot and the jump nearly at the same time. And the save.
And again the jump to prevent direct access towards the goal and reduce the angle. The opponent is mis-interpreting it as a joke. Here again in slow motion. In case the opponent would suddenly move forward and shoot.
Be aware of penealties through the referee. If you hear the characteristic sound and see the exclamation mark over your goal - move out of your half if you can. Go in general into the half of your opponent whenever it’s not dangerous (i.e. the ball is over the goal of the opponent) Here we see in slow motion how the player is moving just over the mid line and then back.

    End of game

Always pay attention to the clock. If the match is really tight at the end, use superpowers to savely play it home. Use whatever you have left and can give you advantage, even when the timing is not right, like in this case.
If you have a really close situation, keep as cool as you can. In this case for example, it is important to just stand in the way, not make any jumps or fast movements to reduce the chance of a last successful attack.
