Press restore playlists in the playlist menu

Just save it to the playlist some of the songs seem to work offline when added to playlist

1.Go to playlist that has song.
2.Go to playlist you want to move it to.
3.scroll to the page where it shows the add button then press it(add it).

Have you received an answer to your question because I too have to turn my phone off just to shut down the app. So any answers?

How do you add songs to a playlist I created, instead of it going straight to the already made playlist by the app?

For the people that want to delete songs, tap on Playlist at the top. X's will appear next to the playlist and the songs. From here you can delete individual songs or the entire playlist.
