  You use the blue and green elements along with the red to upgrade the fountains bought with pearls. The turquoise and brown elements along with red upgrade the fountains purchased with coins. I was curious one day so I kept looking for a use... lol.

  You need three elements to upgrade a fountain. Touch the fountain. You should see an arrow pointing upward. Touch and hold the arrow. You should see which elements you need, how many you need, and what the new amount of time it will take to recharge. If you have the elements and want to upgrade, drag the arrow to the fountain.

  You use the elements that the diver collects. But tbh, idk how to actually do it. I'm kinda stuck with the same problem. Like, I'll click on the upgrade thing and try to drag it to the fountain, but it doesn't work.
