You can make paint at the press in the workshop. You will need the following:

Click the tool icon on the bottom right of your screen > that should open up a tool bar for moving furniture, inventory, storage and selling. Hope this helps!

Click the top right button that says 'upgrade' - Coins will be required :p

Click the arrow on the bottom left of your screen. It will open up a bar - click on the envelope icon (these are your notifications). If you have any requests, it will let you know. From there, you can click accept any friend requests, gifts and read messages. Hope this helped!
