These are totems that the game gives out once you complete a certain event. The cauldron is the Magical Potion totem from Halloween event. It will be upgraded to a Dracula's Throne totem if you had previously obtained the Magical Potion totem from last year's Halloween event. The woman in the blue dress is the totem from the Spring event and the globe is from Christmas event.

Nazianne, as Dawn has stated above the magic pumpkin comes and goes. Normally it comes with a quest and is active for 24hrs at the point I get the quest so I try to get as many pumpkins as I can then. Once time is up, will have to wait for next time it activates.
It is not stated how many halloween keys each time you enter but I have gotten as much as 6. The first time I activated the halloween key mode it states that if the mode is active then there are "a few" keys around. Sometimes I get nothing but its okay as I'm more concerned with finding all other hidden objects. -

And thank you Dawn for the tip on the floating hat/ghosts throwing off key. I thought I saw something fly out but didn't see them quickly enough, coz I only saw them turn to giftboxes and pretty much ignored them =P. I'll be more alert the next time I do so. ;)

Not sure what you mean by gift back trick. When a friend gifts you a Collection item off their inventory, you click to recieve and it will auto-flip to ask you to gift back. This is not new. The previous gifting set-up will ask you to "give thanks" too which basically means you will be sending them an Assembler item (or giftbox) in addition to the one that you can gift them once daily.

Dawn, I'm having a really hard time on the Masquerade Ball too. I swear just that scene alone has made my eyesight deteriorate so much and I'm getting so cross-eyed finding the listed items, let alone those halloween keys! Really a tough and challenging scene to play. Already on level 5 but I still haven't got a grasp of where items are since almost everything is in grey and the scene itself is almost monotone.

Once you have gifted a friend, the gift tab will automatically change to the Collections tab. The only problem is it stays in the Collections tab when you go to your next friend to gift - such a nuisance! So I always select friend to gift, click on Assemblers tab (to confirm I haven't gifted them), gift them (the tab will auto-switch to Collections), then go to next friend to gift.
Oh and other than clicking on the arrow to go to your next friend to gift, you can actually click anywhere on the wishlist and drag/swipe it to left/right to scroll to next or before. -

I don't like the new gifting set up too. Its redundant and I already spend too much time gifting and this makes it even longer. By the time I'm done gifting, I don't even want to play the game anymore. Even when receiving gifts, its annoying to wait for the arrow to come up and sometimes it really takes a long while for those gifts I have accepted to be removed from the list. Most times, I actually have to click to another tab then they will finally be gone. These changes doesn't add value to the game at all. Even worse if you have poor internet connection.

Possibly as it happens in a lot of these games, but its only during special events that you get those unique boosts/items.

When you visit friends and click on any location/mini-games/totems, depending on their reputation level (everyone starts at level 1 Archaeologist - increase coin for exploring scenes by 10%) when your friend visits those scenes/mini-games/clicks on totem, they have a chance to increase coins/experience, etc depending on their reputation level. Unique icon(s) will appear on top of the window of the scene they are entering.

And to answer your real qn., unfortunately there is no site that lists the names of objects and what they look like...or if there are, I haven't found any. Sometimes you have to think out of the box for this game like for eg. in the Station when they ask for arrow, other than the arrow when you think of bow and arrow, it could also refer to directional arrows.

Hah...wait til you get the get your rank to legend and you'll find it even more of a chore ;) They don't add quests too often which might overwhelm new players especially but I find they do give out quests regularly, probably every other week. I have even gotten events that have repeated, like the special Christmas event, they "recycled" it for a normal quest.

Judy, you don't really need to pay money to progress unless you just want to progress quickly! :) Energy is needed to visit each site but it recharges over time. Some locations will need more energy than others to enter. Most collections when completed and assembled (collected) will drop energy and tools. Some even have awesome gifts which helps to increase chance of finding objects or increases experience earned, etc.

The 5 totems and their goals are (from L-R): Master of Investigations (complete X no. of quests), Master of Puzzles (complete X no. of mini-games without losing), Collector (assemble X no. of collections), Team Spirit (add X no. of friends) and Team Spirit (use any tools X no. of times). Tools are the seeker's magnifier, compass, lighter, etc.
The totem you are missing Hayley should be the Team Spirit totem.

I think those are just the in-between filler tasks that they give while waiting for new quests to come in. Only thing to do is wait. Spring event just ended, so hopefully a new event will be coming soon enough.

Surprisingly, a lot of people don't know how to put up their wishlist. And some accounts have a glitch where they do have their wishlist up but their feeds don't update and their wishlist appears blank to their friends. Don't know what's up with that though, so I just advise them to add the item they need to their profile name.

Or people are just lazy to gift. ;P A lot of people don't realise that instead of scrolling through all the items in the list, they can just click on any of the 5 items that appears on their friend's wishlist to gift them that item.

If you are sliding them to a position where they do not line up to at least 3 same shapes, the crystal you shifted will automatically revert back to its original position.
TIP! If you line up and clear 5 of the same shapes together, you get a colorful gem that you can swap position with another crystal (eg. green crystal) and that will blow away all those green crystals off the board. -

In a quest you have to collect 5 different items to complete the collection. Sometimes when you visit a site, you get a duplicate of the collection item you've already received OR you get a future quest item (eg. you are at mirror #3 and you get mirror #5). If you click on the combine button without going through the quest 1 by 1 in order, unfortunately you have to start over and collect the items again from the start.
What you can do instead of doing over (and wasting lots of energy/time) is click on the people icon of each individual collection item in the Collections menu and request those mirrors you have already collected from your friends. Hopefully they will have duplicates of the items and are willing to share. Make sure you go through the quest list you still have pending.
