use screenshots! it states bottom of screens in game- you can press win + G, on my PC its windows logo key and G at same time- this should pop up strip that has camera looking icon. click it quick, then pause your game. it saves a screenshot including the items needed list. just open folder , click on your screenshot. you can zoom in alot- for the really sneaky items you cant find, or the abracadabra mode- if i cant figure out the word fast enough. you can take your time, figure out words or find items..then unpause your game and continue. and they also trip you up by words- a "lamp" is not always same type of lamp. sometimes tall glass, sometimes short one, or hanging lamp..timekeeper can be kitchen timer or a pocket watch-.same for alot of items- they get harder as your level goes up,so they switch up way the items appear..think in broad terms always.

i do everyday- but sometimes game says only 1 gift per day, even if i havent that day! i always look at items listed by the friend,try send one off their list. yeah i usually dont have enough of collectors to let any go, but regular gifts are free to the giver so why not! some of these things its the Only way i would have ever gotten them at all- so thanks to those that gifted me :) ! - i am shubb or sueh960 - i will accept reuqests

idk, only thing i can think of is resolution on your device? or theres error. one side is black and white for past, other side is in color for present. each side will have few things that other side doesnt- thats the differences you click on. it shouldnt be blank though. if you reload you might lose what you have. id send feedback to G5 if your screen is still blank on one side if it were me. sorry not much help
