I didn't have any portals on level 617 but I was able to complete this level. I used the cube combo (doesn't matter about color) because the explosion removes all of the blocks so now you only have the bubbles left to remove. I still used a rocket/TNT to remove majority of the bubbles.

Level 317 with pigs on bottom NO Halos You need a rocket and cube together do that twice if you can or try getting two cubes and clears the whole thing

Only way I was able to win level 317 the one with the pigs on bottom NO halos You have to get a rocket and cube together twice or just 2 cubes and wipe out the whole board at one time
