The game is unfinished. Once you recieve the letter from the stone circle and deliver it to the museum curator, that is it. The storyline never gets resolved.

Nevertheless, to get the letter: 1. complete the previous quest items (picture, black orchid, kite, gear) 2. repair the stone circle 3. visit the stone circle at night; there should be a visible item for you to dig up. The item is the coded letter.

You can then take the coded letter to the museum curator. He will read the letter to you. At this point you have completed the storyline of the game.
