Adding up the cost of buying the sets without exploring the map comes to just less than 37000 doubloons.
Some dice sets I and no doubt others already have from the recent pirate tower.
The pieces at the edges of the map typically cost 500 or 600 to expose. sometimes even more.
You will have to decide which sets you want most.

Me too...but I need screenshots from others to complete the map. I suggest that if you are only missing one piece of the set it may be more economical to purchase the last piece rather then exploring.

Personally I wouldn't bother....not worth the doubloon price. Usually something like 7 diamonds.

Just stitched together the images posted on here - thinking of planning the best route to the harder to find dice. It's too many doubloons to explore without buying them, it si designed that way.
