Make sure you have done all tasks prior to this one. Then move the compass around a little..... Spinning arrow means your close and straight arrow tells you where to go next....(and I have done this myself) don't forget to tap on the compass after you place it where it needs to go.

The compass stays on your island. You can't move it to any other islands. Just go to the island the way you would normally go.

It will only play with the ball when needing to be fed. Wait before you feed it and make sure they are close enough together.
