Iris: I applied for the position as you suggested and I got it!
Margaret: Oh, very good, Iris! I knew you could do it.
Deputy Editor! I! I would never have thought it possible if it weren't for you
would have been.
Margaret: And yet I sense a hesitation. Tell me what's on your mind.
Iris: Well... it's what I dreamed of... But is it what I really want? I have put so much of my life into my work.
Margaret: That's a question only you can answer, but I can try to help.
Margaret: Is there something you've always wanted to do? Something you've always dreamed of but never found the time for?
Iris: Well... it sounds silly, but I've always wanted to adopt a dog. And then take a tour across the country.

It has been a privilege watching my family grow. Hosting Iris brought us so much joy.
But do they still need me? Do I still need them?
Has the time come to say goodbye?
There is a light in the distance and it feels peaceful, calming. I yearn for it.
It's time to go, but there's one more thing I have to do first. Another person I have to manage. -

Margaret: Now I'm all alone.
Margaret: Edwin is finally looking ahead. Benoît and Thomas have each other.
Margaret: Pearl and Vincent live their own lives now. And as for Iris... she has to live her own life, too.
Margaret: I never found out why I stayed here as a ghost.
Margaret: Was it because of Edwin? Was it his memory that kept me here? -

Edwin: Jamaica? We've always talked about going there, but I couldn't possibly go without her...
Pearl: You would have me. The aircraft is fully fueled and ready to take off.
Edwin: But that would mean leaving the island... leaving it...
Iris: You're ready for this. She wants you to see the world while you still can.
Edwin: I suppose you're right. Well, if she wants me to go to Jamaica, I'll do it. But I'm taking Darwin the monkey with me!
Pearl: Fine with me. Pack your things, grandfather, we're going on a trip! -

Edwin: Ah, Iris. I brought Margaret some new flowers. How do you like her?
Iris: You are beautiful, Edwin! I'm sure Margaret will love her!
Margaret: Poor Edwin, still infatuated with me after all this time. Did you know he's the main reason I'm still here?
Iris: I thought so! You both have so much love for each other.
Margaret: I know... But it's time for him to move on. He still has many years of his life ahead of him. He shouldn't be stuck here because of me.
Iris: Maybe I can talk to him about it. Let's think of a plan.

Pearl: I love Klaus and can't wait to start a family. But I keep thinking about the places I've never been.
Margaret It doesn't have to be one or the other. You can have a family and still continue adventuring!
Margaret The answer is to talk to Klaus about what you want and how you are feeling. He will help you find the answer.
Margaret one thing I learned with Edwin is that communication is the key to a happy marriage. We always talked about everything together.
Pearl: Yes, I think that's true. I will talk to him. Thanks for the advice, Margaret, and for your help, Iris.
