Thank you Ms. Tearius and Catrina for the information.
I kind of like Secrets but there's just too many scenes. Also not a big fan of silhouette mode. -

It should be in Volume 2, Chapter 27 but it appears the entire scene has been deleted. I'll try finding it on one of the oterh suggested sites.

I can't thank you enough for the time you've taken to explain the "laws of the JJ land."
We've suspected for time teams were "cheating" / "using the system" to their benefit but, being honest and fair players, we blindly didn't understand the depths teams would go to win.
We've also known the Wooga only cares about their revenue stream as we've brought other "gaming" issues to their attention.
Sadly, it all comes down to the $$$. Perhaps if all honest teams, like ourselves stopped making purchases as a form of boycott, maybe then, and only then, might we see changes and the playing ground leveled.
Again, thank you. I like your "Ace is your Sherlock" mantra. -

It does take time to win Scene Sweep, but start with:
1 Selecting the play. I don't play at this time, but this way a small image of the scene appears in black & white.
2. Screenshot page.
3. Crop shot so image of scene can be enlarged.
4. I primarily use Crazy June to find scene.
5 Using gamersunite, I find & study the scene, locating & familiarizeing myself with every item.
6. Then I play the scene.
I repeat these steps for each scene. Only rarely have I needed to use diamonds.
Sure it takes time but since we normally have a few days, I find the time. -

First, thank you for fully explaining how the Detectives League scoreboard works.
Secondly, Wow! I never realized, or would have thought there are players who are deceptive (and to some degree, clever) enough to figure out a rotating strategy. Does this mean several of the rotating players are the same only with different accounts? And even if the rotate from the team do they reap the rewards?
Incredible! -

I've seen where users delete the English label, so I add it back. Or despite Ms. Tearius' instructions, they put the other name in another language 1st. I've swapped several of these as well.
People need to be kind and careful. This is such an incredible resource, they need to treat it right. -

Two more questions:
1st - If ribbons don't determine who achieves Sherlock status what does?
2nd- What is the result of achieving the global rank of 250 or higher? -

We thought of that but doesn't that hurt our overall ribbons totals?

I believe we were one of the teams in the "new café" beta test.
At first you could give DL ribbons as all of your 5 beverages. People with lots of diamonds really took advantage of this. I have to confess we tried it our efforts to suplement our other play, as a way to keep up with the "Super Players", but was costly.
They now limit your DL drinks to, I believe 2 per night.
But we know players are finding ways to increase their scores.
Other than Magic Eye, which we've repeatedly ask them to put them in separate groups, there's also time zone issues.
As the DL competition is ending it's nighttime for most of our team. But teams in the Far East and even parts of Europe, have either almost another day or half day to play.
The response is everyone has the same number of hours, but in the final hours, we're sleeping.
Good luck on trying to level the playing good. We've been trying for some time without success. -

Do we know time & plays per scene?
Guessing it's 35 seconds and 25 plays per scene since play time is 45 minutes and only 5 scenes are listed. -

For those with lightning fingers, there's 7th scene: Vol 4. Ch. 25 - Sc# 998. Jamshid's Conservatory Rooftop. Tried entering it as Ms. Tearius does without success:

Noticed in Scene 5 (V.1-Ch.56-Sc#280 National Gallery Steps that several items were renamed only in French (the English word erased). As I understand it the French word should have been added behind existing information separated by a slash (/). Tried to correct the ones I found. Hope this is the correct thing to do.

Don't know if this will make a difference but neither me nor my teammates like the gold bars. If we could trade them for something else, energy bars, diamonds, or coins we could change our minds, but "as is" we don't value them at all. In fact, they can be a nuisance when we have to select an "upgrade" offer even though we're perfectly happy with our current style.
