All an be obtained in eggs, spins, and chests. Any animal above 1 star can be evolved into. There is no undoing evolving so be careful evolving this animals.

All hybrids are 4 stars that can be evolved to be 5 star.

To make hybrid animals one will need the hybrid egg (which can be bought in the store or after hatching a total of 21 eggs of any variety) and two animals that are able to be used.

Sadly, selling/donating the higher star animals doesn't help on gaining back how much it cost, so it will take some time to evolve higher star animals. The selling price is the same be it regular or fusion.
For missions regarding evolving animals it is best to evolve then sell a 1 star animal so it evens out.

1 star = 5 candy
2 star = 10 candy
3 star = 15 candy
4 star = 20 candy
5 star = 25 candy

It is not possible to sell/donate animals that were obtained for completing a set.

To evolve go to the collection and tap the animal you want to evolve. It will cost candies that can be obtained in chests, leveling up, obtaining animals and by selling animals.

1 star -> 2 star = 10
2 star -> 3 star = 25
3 star -> 4 star = 200
4 star -> 5 star = 500

The Girapir is a 4 star made by using the fusion egg combining a giraffe (2 star) and a tapir (1 star).
The Girapir can also be evolved with 500 candy into a Gemstone Girapir.

The Tigaw is a 4 star made by using a fusion egg of the tiger and scarlet macaw (both are 2 star).
The Tigaw can also be evolved with 500 candy into a Faerie Tigaw.
