    Nicely done Jenn. Not only did you complete your Large Case (Hard Level) Club Mysteries event, you did it with a few days to spare and with a very difficult sector map layout.

    We are a Social style club and have always gotten hard difficulty (large case) for Club Mysteries. Expressing your viewpoints "[email protected]" or not playing the event all together are about the only ways to affect a change.

    If you go into Club Mysteries event, I think it will tell you the level of difficulty. Wooga refers to it as "small", "medium", or "large" case. On the Club Mysteries page with the "Investigate" button, look for the size of the "case" above the prize info/picture. Something like "medium case total rewards". These correspond to easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels. You may also be able to tell by the number of clues required for the first piece of evidence. Either 15, 20, 60 for the three difficulty levels.

    Have seen reports of teams with both 4, 7, and 9 players that have also gotten the hard version of Club Mysteries. No cut-off at 9 or 10 players as some have suggested.

    To my knowledge, Wooga selects the difficulty of the Club Mysteries event and there is no way for you (or them) to change it once it begins. Your best option is to contact Wooga support and express your displeasure and provide feedback. In my experience, the in-game "help" is all but useless, but you can try emailing either:

    And, completely agree, Wooga has taken a nice concept, monetized it into oblivion, and made it not fun or even doable for most teams.

    @Sandy, I think you are referring to league ribbons after completing the Club Mysteries challenge. This last Club Mysteries (11/12/23 to 11/19/23), for the first time, no league ribbons were awarded for the final stage prize. If you looked carefully at the prizes for each stage, league ribbons were only prizes in the second goal, and participants must claim them before proceeding to the third stage. This prevented teams from holding prizes back and having a huge jump in the league ribbons for this week.

    Yes, most can actually wait part way into Tuesday. Once your team has finished the event, enter the Club Mysteries event as normal (do not hit "claim rewards" unless you intend to) and you will see a red countdown timer listing the time remaining in which you can collect your final rewards. Whether you collect immediately or wait would depend on your team's current Detective League status and whether you need the points this week or if they would be more beneficial next week, or even a split of both.

    I have had the freezing issue with both Club Mysteries and Secrets, stealing badges/energy (CM/Secrets) and progress multiplier (Secrets). Not sure if it is purposeful or simply unstable code, (or both). Either way, it happens way to often and Wooga tech support is absolutely useless. They will blame you, your connection, etc. even if other household members are playing at the same time, and not experiencing any connection difficulties. They also are anti-helpful in terms of compensation for your loss of energy etc, or additional diamonds used because now your sector is “locked”, or resetting your Secrets multiplier.

    I do think Wooga has some control knobs - as I have definitely noticed that when I get Help Wanted tasks for “find materials” or “find compasses”, that those items become much scarcer. For instance, probability of getting a compass from a butterfly bush is about 30%. This seems true, on average, unless you have a Help Wanted task to find compasses, then it clearly drops to closer to 10%. I am basing this on my years of observations.
