  Yes, there should be more scenes as you add more Flower value to your island. If you are playing on a mobile device, check for an update. If that doesn't help, ask customer support through the "help" button in the game settings. Here is a list of the ongoing story:
  Volume 1 = brown book has 100 chapters (Scenes #1-500)
  Volume 2 = green book has 50 chapters (Scenes #501-750)
  Volume 3 = blue book has 25 chapters (Scenes #751-875)
  Volume 4 = purple book has 35 chapters (Scenes #876-1050)
  Volume 5 = teal book has 35 chapters (Scenes 1051-1225)
  Currently on Chapter 1 of Volume 5, with one new chapter released every Thursday.
