My iPad and my iPhone both have the x8 multiplier too. My teammate’s iPad is the same. Just another way for them to push us into purchasing the extended energy.. Sadly it’ll always be about the money

I play on a laptop via an android emulator. In the past I've always had up to x10 multiplier in the Secrets events, but this time it's only up to x8. That's not very fair if they are allowing different multipliers depending on the device, and particularly as they've increased the number of levels too. Unfortunately neither my phone nor my tablet can handle JJ, so I can't check what a mobile device would be like. I'm going to contact support to ask as this isn't very fair.

I came across a strange thing in the Secrets. I have 2 accounts - one on phone, another on PC using Google Play Games.
These accounts have different score multiplier scales.
Phone account has scale: 1x-2x-2.5x-4x-6x-7x-8.5x-8.8x-9.2x-9.5x-9.8x-10x
PC account has scale: 1x-2x-2.5x-3x-4x-5x-5.5x-6x-6.5x-7x-7.5x-8x
Had anyone else seen something like this?

Ms Tearius - I have to apologise, I was wrong regarding the bonus bar. You do not get a higher multiplier in the bonus if you click on objects early, the multiplier increases with each object you click on so long as you click an object before the bonus bar disappears.
Today I decided to try what you suggeseted, i.e. go slower early on while the bonus bar is slow, clicking on an object just before the bonus bar expires... and I have to say I found it easier becasue I wasn't in such a rush. And when the bar speeds up I just clicked as quick as I could, but it didn't seem as strenuous because there were only half a dozen or so items I had to do at speed. So, thank you for the tip :)

Yes, there is a score multiplier bonus bar within each round you play. Absolutely, if you can play fast and keep that bonus multiplier up, that is the best way to use fewer badges. But if you're like me, and can't keep that bonus bar up, especially when there are lots of objects hidden, then going a bit slower at an even pace to maintain that bonus bar will really help.

I have to say, as there is no Club Mysteries comp running at the moment, I'm doubting myself if the bonus bar actually has a multiplier or not. If I'm wrong I apologise. However, regardless whether there is a multiplier or not, you stil get more points the faster you find each object, and so potentially need less badges to finish the sector.

If Anonymous comes back, what are the multipliers you and your wife got? I have 10 days with larger multiplier. Not great actually because I don’t earn keys fast enough. lol
I recall being annoyed with getting no reward for some scenes in the past because keys were the reward. With a full key bar, I received no scene reward. Finally that’s a reward I would use and I bet it’s not offered. Wooga’s gonna Wooga.

Wooga is trying out some new things this time. There are three durations possible -- 7, 10, or 13 days; and two multipliers -- 2.5x and 10x. Both variables are randomly assigned. Like Belinda said, the 7 day version progresses faster than the 10 day version. My wife has the 7 day and I have the 10 day and I roughly calculated that she progress about 25% faster than me. I assume the 13 day version progresses a little slower as well, but that's just a guess.

Now we see why code readers had a rough time sorting this out. Three different lengths for Secrets and a couple of different multipliers are sprinkled around. Mine is 10 days with the 10 multiplier. A clubmate has 7 days with the 10 multiplier.
The most unfortunate players have 7 days with the old 2.5 multiplier. Some have 13 days with 2.5 multiplier. Haven’t heard of anyone with 13 days and 10 multiplier.
