  I got all three stars without using any extras. It's basically just luck. After you get the first rainbow mint bomb I made another one with the rainbow one in the middle, that then cleared out the whole board (including the orange sugar sticks). After that I just used a few moves to get the 40 sticks, then had 23 moves left and that was enough to get 3 stars.

  I got three stars. You can capture without using items. The hints on the left and right are to activate Orange Sugar Stick with Mint Bomb.

  I don't understand Brenda's
  assertion either. I have managed to mint bomb the sugar sticks on the edge, completing the game without boosters with sixteen lives left, and STILL didn't earn three stars. Frustrating!

  I don't understand what Brenda means. You start the level with 28 moves, how can you have at least 28 moves left? I've gotten close using the worms but not close enough.
