  This is more how many things of food do you have if it says 11th versus the food you need at least 11 holes that have food in them me I usually do three rows of potatoes three rows of carrots and three three rows of tomatoes and a minimum of one of each of the fruit trees but the fruit trees take about 3 days to drop food once that happens and you have all of that you just need to be able to have enough to sustain the amount of people for one day and they only eat about once a day but I usually get enough for about 9 days

  The day after you see fruit in the trees the fruit will be found on the ground, leads tend to blend in more than apples or oranges so soon in it you wish to collect and we'll them.

  Pick up all the trash, and fruit everyday. Start planting flowers and some trees to beautify your town. When u find minerals, plants, or bugs take them to the museum. Do this plus the favors of the towns folk and you will indeed start getting new people into your town. Up to 10 on Android. Not sure for ios.

  You need a certain number of food, not necessarily different ones. Plant more fruit trees and veggies. I plant them all over, even near areas where people work, hang out, take walks, etc.

  Fruit trees are really good as once you've planted them they regrow fruit every few days. Veg seeds need to be replanted when they've been eaten.
