  I'd like to know about the colonizer boat.

  Seasons are survived when they change while you are actually playing. For me it is around 6pm every other day. I had to narrow down the time by playing every six hours or so at first, and then found out they changed in the afternoon. Then I just had to sit on the hour marks for a few days until I did find it.

  Ah. I'm playing on an iPhone, not leaving that on for two hours around midnight. The seasons and fire starter thing are the only things I've not completed, but seeing as this seems like a bug, I'm done... until it updates again. I'm on level 71, but the community tasks have stopped, so the game is pretty much stalled.

  Answering my own question... after a day or so, the apple tree grew some leaves. Eventually it grew more leaves, and then eventually started producing apples. It took several days (I didn't keep track). Once the tree starts to produce, it works like a farm (5 people x 1 minute = 5 apples) and appears to be good in all seasons.

  I don't like the update. 1. Too long repairtimes for craft huts. 2. Now I bought another appletree, it was written for 0 Silvercoins, but it took me 200! Coldcoins! 3. I've the same questions: campfire and seasons. But I don't like the game like before, so I'm not sure to go on...:-(

  you have to wait for the seasons to change, different seasons mean different crops. Also upgrading your fields will let you grow a wider range of vegetables

  I've noticed the seasons change sporadically on my android phone. I started in Fall, which lasted about a week. Winter lasted maybe 3 or 4 days, Spring only 1 or 2 days, then Summer for almost a week. I play almost every day, so I'm not sure what triggers the season changes.
  OP: Sounds like you're in Summer. Try playing a bit more and/or leaving the app open for a little bit each day and maybe it'll trigger Fall to come.
