Good eye and catch. For the new comers, the "gift list" is under your friends on the "FRIENDS" icon where you visit and gift assemblers and collection items to them, and where they give you gifts and request items.

I did find the seasonal event assemblers on the very end of the Gift list and Other tab (under inventory ). You need to be a certain level to unlock them or unlock with rubies. I too cheap to spend rubies to see if I could add them to my wish list after that.

Usually you can buy them in the store, but assembler items for the final collection that the quest "assemblers" make--I don't know what the correct term for it is--cannot be requested. Example: In the collections under "The City", you can collect the Christmas Light collection that produces the "Christmas Sphere" artifact. You can request the items in the Christmas Light collection, but you can not request someone to send you one of their Christmas Sphere artifacts, if they have collected more than one. Any item in the collection that has a tiny scroll with a plus-sign in the top left hand corner of it is an item that can be requested on your wish list. Some event assemblers can be purchased at the "Store" on the "Other" tab. Others are just found while playing the game. You can also purchase artifacts at the store in chests, which is found on the "Chest" tab. Chests come in 4, 8, or 12 'collectible object' sizes. I have bought a couple of chests for the keys--didn't do me any good, at least not where I saw it helping me open the chests of defeated monsters or getting into special locations.

I read somewhere in another G5 Hidden City Mystery of Shadows forum that there are mega assemblers that can't be asked for, but certainly can be gifted someone--anyone know what that is and were to find it? Sometimes people don't request an assembler and I'd love to give this one to them since it seems like it would be one that everyone would need. Thanks.

Also, you can only gift an Assembler to that friend, in that way, when they gifted you a Collection Item. So, that is the only time you will see that option. It is a way to gift them a random assembler as a thank u, because that Collection Item came out of their personal inventory. Assemblers are FREE to give 1 to each of your Friends daily. There is no way to gift an Assembler from your own inventory, so don't think that the TY gift is the only way to gift them a free Assembler ;-) It's a common mistake because they never thoroughly explained gifting whend we started the game. Also, to gift a free Assembler to a friend: Click on the Assembler in your friend's Wish List that you want to gift to them. It is an easy way to gift your friends exactly what they need! And, again, the Assemblers are Free to gift to your friends, they never come out of your own inventory. I repeat this info to help you have more fun playing. It is nearly impossible, and not fun at all, to get all of the Assemblers you need on your own, so gifting your friends the Assemblers they ask for in their Wish List is crucial! (And, you must put the Assemblers you need in your Wish List for your friends to be able to help give you what you need. Even if you don't need one at the moment, stock up on common ones)Help each other & have fun! :-) My ID is Gorgeous Love and I do gift & play daily, so if you are the same, I would be happy to welcome you as my friend! :-)

Click as if you are assembling the items and it will show you how much to purchase each assembler.. On top of each of the assemblers is a green +, tap the green + and it will turn red. You can have 5 assembler requests at once and change as often as you like

Once you have gifted a friend, the gift tab will automatically change to the Collections tab. The only problem is it stays in the Collections tab when you go to your next friend to gift - such a nuisance! So I always select friend to gift, click on Assemblers tab (to confirm I haven't gifted them), gift them (the tab will auto-switch to Collections), then go to next friend to gift.
Oh and other than clicking on the arrow to go to your next friend to gift, you can actually click anywhere on the wishlist and drag/swipe it to left/right to scroll to next or before.

Yes, exactly. That is ALL that was needed. Why did they default the tab to the collections so that when you give an assemblers gift you can not tell if the gift was given? Why when you give a gift does the silly thing default BACK to the collections tab AFTER you give a gift? It just causes you to go back to the assemblers tab to be check if everything is "greyed" out so you know the gift was sent, then when you click on the next friend button, it is right back on the collections tab making you do the whole silly routine all over again.

Hi Nina,
It is not "a problem" Elayne has, she just mentions a nice feature.
Since you have NO wish list, I sent you a Candle assembler as a Gift instead. So if you receive a Candle, that is what I sent you ;)
You do know you can make a Wish List for assemblers? And you can ask for Collection Items (that is a general request).
I am not sure my HC friends get the item I send them, since I do not know them IRL, but I do get the items that are on my Wish List. :-)

Hey Sally. I have the same problem as Elayne. I thought it was just something wrong with my game. Question: If I was to gift everyone their assembler wishes, would they actually get the gifts? I'm under the impression that my friends are not receiving my assemblers. I have been sending them collection items. I feel too shy to ask them...
