June's Journey: Hidden Objects
Character cards and puzzles continue to be released as your story progresses. If you have not progressed your story, then your character cards will stop appearing in the star boxes. But will resume as your story resumes. When you complete the puzzles, you get a full energy bar (110 if you have the original bar and 150 if you have purchased the extended energy bar).

I thought the Increased Capacity Bar (previous called the Extended Energy Bar) was available from the start or very near the start. Tap on the "+" sign next to your energy count and scroll to the right side to find it. It costs 799 diamonds, you get 3 full bars when you purchase. Thereafter, energy will auto-refill at the same rate of 1 energy every 2 minutes, but will continue to fill until it reaches max capacity at 150 energy, which takes 5 hrs (instead of 110 max capacity at 3.7 hrs). All character puzzles completed and star booster activated will also give 150 energy instead of 110.

You can buy the extended energy bar. Unless you are able to check in many times a day to play, I recommend it since you can do more searches each time you play.

@ Margo, the energy upgrade will increase the value of your drinks. When others accept your drink, they will receive the increased energy, maximum of 15 energy bolts per drink. When you serve, you will also receive that increased energy. That energy is added to your existing pool of energy, even if you energy bar is at the maximum auto-refill. So if your bar maximum is at 110, and you accept a drink worth 15 energy, your energy will then increase to 115. Any energy you stockpile can be used in competition. That is how players accumulate tens of thousands of energy. Also energy from boosters and character puzzles can help you stockpile energy.

June’s Journey tips
My tip for beginners: read the game FAQs in the game setting "help" section. Replay scenes to earn coins to buy high flower value items. Too many low-flower items will cause you to run out of island space. Establish daily bush exchanges with players so you can get diamonds. Save diamonds to buy the extended energy bar if you want to play more. Make the most out of your starboxes by saving and opening them for Help Wanted tasks. To increase your chances of getting Marvelous prizes every month, save pink boxes to open next month.
The game is a challenge, where you must balance island decoration with story progression. If you run out of space, you must replay scenes to earn coins for high-flower decoration, using them to replace your low-flower decoration on your island. The higher the flower value, the further you can progress.
On flowers:
Flowers can be added to your island in several ways: moving items from storage to island, buying decoration, upgrading buildings, renovating landmarks, and sending Jack's plane on a flower delivery. When you buy decoration, the construction must be complete and the red ribbon removed, before its Flower value will count. Buying decoration of higher Flower value will get you further in the game.

Don't know if this will make a difference but neither me nor my teammates like the gold bars. If we could trade them for something else, energy bars, diamonds, or coins we could change our minds, but "as is" we don't value them at all. In fact, they can be a nuisance when we have to select an "upgrade" offer even though we're perfectly happy with our current style.

You are the best. Have only 1 request. When listing the competition information, time, energy bars, plays per round, could you add the time to play each scene, i.e., 2 minutes, 35 seconds?

Character puzzles are ready to complete when you have collected 7 of the same character cards.
To accumulate energy points for competitions, wait until your energy bar is full, then add lounge drinks, character puzzles, and/or starboosters. Best to stop playing regular scenes at least one day before competition, so that you can accumulate 1-2 days worth of lounge drinks before playing.

For the original energy bar, it takes 3 hrs and 40 min for the bar to reach 110 energy capacity. For the extended energy bar, it takes 5 hrs for the bar to reach 150 energy capacity.

+PrtScn. The file is saved to the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder. You can also us the Snipping Tool which is available in all versions of Windows Vista, 7, and 8 except the Starter and Basic editions.
